Buyers busy as market rises

The Brisbane wide stats show our home prices bottomed in September and these past few months have each recorded rises. In South Brisbane we’re witnessing much the same with 2020 finishing with some strong growth, and this year starting with high buyer demand.

Local apartments are currently averaging just over a month on the market and, while the stats show median prices down over 2020, there’s been a lot more recent activity in the affordable end of the market – 1 bedroom and 2 bed, 2 bath designs are much busier.

We’ve had a run on all of our available South Brisbane apartments in recent weeks with multiple offers received and we now have very little to offer the active buyers on our books.

As always there is a low turnover of houses only because there are not many in the suburb and they are very tightly held this close to the city.
