We love a good graph and this one tells the story of the past 8 months and COVID-19’s impact on the inner-Brisbane rental market. We’re just one agency but our property management team look after a sizable number of near city apartments and houses, so our vacancy rate is a good data sample.
According to the REIQ a “healthy” or balanced rental market has between 2.5% to 3.5% of properties vacant at any time. We’re now at 2.25%, suggesting we can look to 2021 as a better market for our landlord clients.
