Useful Facts Without Opinions: Everyone’s moving to Queensland!
Today’s release of ABS population stats chart the year’s changes up to March, recording the last ‘normal’ period before COVID came to visit. And the most obvious piece of data is the huge shift of interstate migration to Queensland. With more than 3 times net moves than the 2nd place getter, Queensland property owners will be smiling at the idea of this increased demand.
And since it’s almost Origin time again, can we just point out that New South Welshmen were already abandoning their state at a great speed of knots…
So how do you think these trends will develop in a post-COVID world as overseas migration pauses? Will there be more demand for the Queensland lifestyle? (Victoria doesn’t even have an AFL grand final anymore does it??!) Please share your opinion!
