Spring Hill buyers still active despite virus caution
Coronavirus has definitely caused some buyers to take a breath and watch what will happen, but the 4 Spring Hill house sales in the first quarter is simply because there was very little for sale! At time of writing there are only 6 residential homes available to purchase and these are mostly high end homes (with an aggregate value over $10m). Any homes listed near the median price are meeting strong interest from buyers wanting this premium city neighbourhood.
There were 24 apartment sales to the end of March and many of them were again small apartment sales. There’s currently more 3 bed apartments listed so we’d expect to see the median price rise on the back of this. So far we’ve not heard of any forced sales and generally many local owners are simply holding off from going to market at this time.
