Herbst to lead REIQ in Brisbane’s Southern Suburbs
We’re proud to share the news that Bees Nees Sales Manager, Rebecca Herbst, will be the REIQ’s new Chair of their Southern Suburbs zone for 2020 and 2021! The new role means Bec will be popping up in local media and on the tele from time to time, as well as leading REIQ events in Brisbane’s southern suburbs.
The Real Estate Institute of Queensland is the state’s peak body for agents and works to raise professionalism and education standards across the industry. REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella says, “Zone chairs are the first port of call for real estate professionals in greater Queensland for issues regarding either the local area or Queensland’s real estate industry at large.”
“The REIQ relies on its zone chairs to be the face of the organisation around Queensland’s regional areas.”
Rebecca is no stranger to leadership roles at the REIQ, having already served four years on the Sales Chapter Committee, the past two years as Chair. She joined the real estate profession in 2007 and the Bees Nees team in 2014.
