Milton sales market update: Listings now under-supplied
Activity in the Brisbane’s inner-city market is far more positive for property owners than our interstate cousins! Our sales team have experienced strong buyer enquiry throughout summer and fairly-priced listings generate good inspections. Overall listings are now under-supplied.
With Milton located so close to the Brisbane CBD, it appears house owners are holding tight, with only half the number of homes turning over for 2018 compared to 2017! Of the 13 sales recorded, the median is sitting just under $800,000. Due to less construction than in previous years, apartment sales are sitting a little lower and the median slightly decreased to $410,000 . Milton is only a small residential suburb – approx. 1900 properties in total, and home buyers are increasingly drawn to the local amenity and near-city location.
