West End sales market update: Low numbers but buyers are busy looking!

The cranes are definitely coming down across West End real estate and the new apartment buildings, and while we still expect another 600 to be completed in the suburb this year, it’s a marked slow down from the 1,800 added in the past 2 years. Buyers are gaining confidence and where apartment owners are meeting price expectations we’re witnessing solid activity, particularly for larger 2 and 3 bed  homes. This year’s up-tick in the median price reflects this, with dearer apartments appealing to owner-occupiers drawn to West End’s strengthening lifestyle appeal.

Houses are always in demand locally! The year has started slow in transaction numbers but only due to a lack of listings. Buyers are ready and waiting and our database has many serious home-hunters waiting for our call!
