South Brisbane’s William Jolly Bridge is about to get a major facelift with council soon to commence work on 2 lighthouses which will project images on its iconic arches. When completed in September this year, the lighthouses will project images of Brisbane’s past, present and future.
Originally named the Grey Street Bridge when completed in 1932, the bridge was renamed in 1955 after its builder, Brisbane’s first Lord Mayor William Jolly. For more info go to www.brisbane.qld.gov.au
