David’s first venture into property was in 1997 when he purchased a workers cottage in Dutton Park for what now seems like a very small $100,000. After substantial renovation, he offered the property to the rental market for three years before selling it by auction to purchase his first block of units.

As the last boom commenced in inner-city Brisbane, David joined Future Domain as a Director to undertake a small residential land subdivision. His contribution included market feasibility studies and subdivision consultations, developing a marketing strategy and selling properties by both auction and private negotiation.
