Brisbane’s home prices saw a 1.8% rise for the month of February, according to the latest RP Data-Rismark Hedonic Home Value Index.

- The past 12 months saw home prices up 7.6% on the 8 Capital Cities aggregate across Australia
- Brisbane’s homes are now 5.5% higher than at the same time last year (Sydney’s speed of increase in home prices has eased and is 9.5%, behind Melbourne where home prices rose 11.1% over the past year)
- The Index reports Brisbane apartment prices dropped by 1% in February, while our houses rose 2.1%
- Rental yields for a Brisbane apartment are reported at 5.3%, equal best in the nation alongside Darwin.
