Brisbane’s home prices rose 0.7% in January, according to the latest RP Data-Rismark Hedonic Home Value Index. Here’s all their latest numbers:
• The 8 Capital Cities aggregate across Australia was a 1.2% growth in median home prices, with Melbourne up 3.2% and Perth/Darwin both down 1.1%
• Brisbane’s homes are now 3.8% higher than at the same time last year (Sydney remains the national super-star, with growth of 13.4%)
• The Index reports Brisbane apartment prices rose 0.8% in January, while our houses went up 0.7% (both were up 2.7% for the past quarter)
