Garden of Remembrance Dutton Park

At the junction of Annerley and Gladstone Roads, nestled between Boggo Road Urban Village and South Brisbane Cemetary in Dutton Park, sits Gair Park. Opened in April 1951 Gair Park was named after Vince Gair who served as Queensland Premier from 1952-1957.

Today the triangular garden has excellent views of the surrounding area and contains an elegant cenotaph in memory of fallen comrades from 1950 to 1966. It is a lovely place to sit and have lunch or take a wander through dedicated to , and is on the Queensland heritage register.
